I have a .25-06 made by them with a HS Percision stock. It shoots exceptionally well. I've shot .27 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yards. It's a well made rifle and accurate. Watch how heavy of a barrel contour you get. The longer and heavier the contour the more accurate, but the less functional becuase you'll have to carry it. I was a rifle neophite at the time and a cousin who is a bigger, fast, more accurate rifle nut advised me to get a heavy contour barrel in 26 inches. The barreled action, with HS stock, and a scope is WAY to heavy for a .25-06. Oh well we learn the hard way sometimes. Anyway I'm currently selling it because I moved from Ohio to Alaska and have no use for an 11 pound .25-06 up here. That said they make excellent rifles just choose wisely for you purposes.

Brett

PS. If I were still in Ohio I would not be selling it, but I'm a functional gun guy not a collector.

BAB,
sounds like you have a sweet 25-06 Big Grin

I was wondering who has used them for custom rifles
I just haven't heard much about them. I am considering a new 300winmag gun --I already have a ruger, but would like a custom built light weight mountain gun that would be a sweet shooter.

It is for sure. I don't think you'll be disapointed in the least. They make an extremely nice action. Very smooth action with little wable in the back, CRF, and 3 position safety. For what you get they are VERY reasonably priced.

Serengeti uses their actions in their rifles.

I have had three made- after they came from MRC, my gunsmith undertook quite a bit of polishing, fitting and smoothing their actions before they were finalized. I would not count on great fit and finish strait from the factory- but I could be wrong or you may get lucky.

I'm not sure about just buying an action, but there were no problems with the barreled action from they.

We had a left hand SS 375 H&H barreled action made, for my wife, and put it in an Accurate Innovations stock and it will shoot 3 shots MOA @ 100 yds with the old Hornady 300 grain RN bullets.

I used two of their long actions to have a left and right handed 404 Jeffery made. Extremely happy.
