Planning a trip to the East Cape this year. Have been researching Outfitters and pretty much have it narrowed down to four; KMG Hunting Safaris, Huntershill Safaris, Settlers Safaris, and Swaershoek Safaris. If anyone has had experience with any of these outfitters your thoughts would be appreciated. Cape Kudu, Cape Bushbuck, and Springbuck are our on the top of our wish list.

Well I've met and talked with Marius at KMG and am trying to work out a hunt for 2017. Seems like a great guy to hunt with and all the reports I've read about his hunts are good. Hope this helps!

We are booked with Lalapa for April. They offer some very unique free-range hunts as well as traditional fare.

I can't say I've hunted with Marius, but he does seem to be a stand up guy. Through corresponding and his posts, I wouldn't hesitate.

My one Eastern Cape hunt was with Melody Safaris and Louis Lategan. He was a fine hunter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The EC is beautiful and you will have fun.

Marius Goosen received a glowing report from a mutual client.
If half of what was said of him was true then you are in for a great hunt.

I've hunted twice with Kei River Safaris and Andrew Renton. One day we went to Huntershill to look for colored springbuck and waterbuck. If you would like, please PM me with any questions regarding my observations that day.

You'll find both of my reports here on AR. I can't recommend Andrew enough.

Good luck, you'll enjoy your hunt.

huntelkrc, I have hunted with "East Cape Safaris" for a number of years now. I have also sent half a dozen people to them. I have been hunting in Africa for 15 years now and they are as good as they come. No BS the client comes 1st. They have all the species you mention, and more. No put and take, Grant owns the property and manages it well. If you are interested you can email me at bschofield93@msn.com.

2+ for Andrew Renton. Hunted twice with him. Massive hunting area. All unfenced. Super quality of game. Everything was top 30 or better. #2 handgun kudu-absolute monster.
