So I spoke with both Ndumo and Omujeve Safaris at the show this past weekend about a future elephant hunt. I was impressed by both companies. Was wondering if anyone here has had any experiences with them and if you cared to share some info about it. Thanks in advance

I am unfamiliar with Ndumo. However, for what it is worth, I have done a non-trophy elephant bull hunt with Omujeve and would not do another.

My view is a nontrophy elephant should be priced as an impala.

You can export the Impala.

I hunted with Ndumo in April and cannot say enough good things about them. We hunted two different areas one of which was a National Park where we took a great leopard the first day and then a very good Buffalo. After that we moved to a tribal/conservancy. We took a Buffalo and Hyena there. After that I passed on three different bulls which my PH Divan thought were pretty good and lucked into a Slammer I of course do not have the Ivory back but was told they weighed 58 and 67. We saw well over 150 elephants. While we were in the Tribal area we received a monsoon like rainstorm which drew a ton of elephant into the area so maybe I have a bit of a skewed opinion of the area. Karl was very entertaining and the food was great.

You may also want to check with Jamy Traut. He generally has access to both trophy and non-trophy elephant in Namibia.

I have taken 3 non trophy elephants with Karl and Ndumo, the last one about 6 weeks ago. Shot the first 2 on the second day, the last one on day 4. Can’t say enough good things about the hunts.

I did a non trophy bull elephant hunt with Karl Stumpf of Ndumo Safaris a few years ago. Great hunt. Shot my bull on the second day. I would recommend him without any reservation.

I did an elephant safari with Karl Stumph of Ndumo Safaris in 2915. Shot my elephant on the 4th day and a hippo on the 6th day. Had a wonderful hunt.I can recommend him highly and if I were going to hunt an elephant or anything else for that matter, I would hunt with Karl.

Having Spent time in Ndumos camps and knowing Karl, you would do well to go with him.

They have some of the most unspoiled wilderness blocks and the most spectacular camp settings.

Without a doubt, if i was a paying client today I would be hunting with Ndumo.
