Has anyone hunted for buffalo with Grant Taylor in Moz. I believe he hunts contada #10. Is this a good area for decent sized buffalo. Thank You

Bahati who we represent has Coutada 10 and there are loads of buffalo there. Average size will run about 36"-43". A 7 day hunt there is quite inexpensive. I'm huntng there in '09 with some clients and very much looking forward to it. Johan's PH's have hunted the area for years so why would you book through a sub contractor?

i am hunting there in Oct with Bahati Adventures. will post a trip report after the hunt but everything i have heard has been very positive. Bahati has the concession rights there, so as Mark says, why would you book with a subcontractor instead of directly with the outfitter whose PH's have hunted there daily for years? just my 2 cents.

I posted a hunt report from my experience with Bahati in June of last year. Yes, there are buffalo and lots of them. It is incredibly exciting being with the buffalo in the razor grass and papyrus. I don't know anything about the guy you are asking about but I do know Johan and he is an honest man that will deliver an adventure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Yes, he has done so on the odd occasion. Mainly for Buffalo. His regular hunting area is outside of Coutada 10 (a proclaimed hunting area) and to the south of us. I don't know the extent and status of it.
