African hunters probably know that Sable Antelope is prohibitively expensive to hunt in South Africa. The average trophy fee for Sable in SA is around $7,500 compared to about $3,000 in other African countries such as Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Although some may argue that Sable should be hunted in countries such as Zim and Zambia, the advantage of hunting in SA is SA's excellent infrastructure and the many other attractions that it has to offer - especially for non-hunting companions.

I am in a position to offer one Sable hunt in South Africa at a trophy fee of $5,500 - which compares very well to Sable hunts elsewhere in Africa.

By means of comparison:

Sable Hunt - Mozambique:

Air Charter - SA to Mozambique = $5,000.00
Daily Rates - $850 X 7 days = $5,950.00
License / Community fees = $400.00
Trophy Fee = $3,000.00
Firearm Import License = $200.00
Hunting Card = $150.00
Trophy Handling = $350.00
Total = $15,050

Sable Hunt - RSA:

Air Charter - N/A
Daily Rates - $400 X 7 days = $2,800.00
License / Community fees = N/A
Firearm Import License = N/A
Hunting Card = N/A
Trophy Handling = N/A
Total = $8,300

Would any of the members here be interested in taking this hunt before October 31st this year? If you are, please contact me.

For S.A. the offers seems good. Off course in Zimbabwe, in fenced areas, you can pay for a quite good Sable hunt ( 40 inches) about 6500 us all included.
So I think the goodness of your offer depend of the trophy quality, the type of the hunting area (a small enclosure or a big game farm) etc.

Agreed, the hunt has been bought but for sake of interest:

The hunt will be conducted on 12,500 acres of fenced game ranch. Trophy quality is in the 40" category and pretty much all SA plains game bushveld species occur and are available to hunt including Tsessebe.
