i took this one in the Okavanga delta. unfortunately this was in a photo safari area that adjoined our hunting concession and i wasn't hunting lion anyway!! i was standing in the back of the truck about 20 yds away from him and it was impressive to watch him drag the carcass around until he found a shady spot to lie down and finish eating.

Some incredible pictures Ray, Nathan is evidently good at all he does. We'll try and get some good ones when you are out here. One week to go eh? I hope you are pumped.

Thanks for sharing you guys - great lion pictures really do something for me. How about these ones. Amatuerish in comparison I know, but we must remember that we are all amatuerish in some field!! Guess you've all seen them before....

I thought the information about group hunting dynamics was really interesting, and it goes to show thta Hunters are not the only ones peeved at the way the ducumentaries misguide the viewers.
