M70 Supergrade 30.06
I found a new production M70 Supergrade in 30.06. It looks NIB and has had a trigger job. It is priced at $750.00. Is that a good deal?

$600 would be a good deal but $750 is not out of line.

If it was made in 1952 then it would be a good deal

I sold mine a few months ago. It was a current production Super Grade with the David Miller designed stock. Piece of SHITE!

Inaccurate 3-4 inches, crappy finish, crappy wood to metal fit, crappy everything.

It was pretty from across the room and they used a nice piece of wood.

I will never own another current production M70 that hasn't been worked over, rebarreled, and restocked!

I've got 3 current production M70's and love them all. A 270 Fwgt, an '06 Supergrade and a 300 Win Supergrade. All function well, and though finicky about bullet weight, will group my reloads inside an inch. Really like the pretty wood on the supers. Good rifles. Life is too short to hunt with ugly plastic rifles.
