I had no idea you cared so much for "fellow hunters" when it appears from your comments that hunting is not one of your most active pastimes. Now, who does not spin yarns? Hell you have a whole web site devoted to the fine art and you bring up the subject of BS!! You would appear to be the professional at such things, and far be from me to "out spin" a pro from Norway, for that place is known far and wide on the globe to be home to some of the biggest BS'ers in captivity. ( Only observe how they vote and speak in the United Nations and I am sure you will catch on quickly.) The conversation with you bores me and comes to no conclusion other than you are seemingly a well travelled fellow, but not very wise in the world. Time will perhaps help you become wiser.

"Driver", you need to take your medication... Roll Eyes

In what way from any of my posts are you able to deduce that hunting is not one of my favorite pastimes?

As for my fellow hunters and wanting to know who your "friends" had such a bad time with in Zim, I do care for them, and I also care for my own sake for future reference. Which is why I wrote a "hunt report" when I returned from Zim last year. I hope it has been benificial to others, as have many others hunt reports been to me.

Yes "Driver", we made the whole website while hidden away here at home in Oslo. Just like with JudgeG, it cost us a fortune in plants, to make the backround look belivable... Roll Eyes

Our website was set up due to various sponsors who helped us with equipment, in addition to it being a way to keep our family and friends back home updated on how we were doing while away.

We continue to keep the website up now for the benefit of others who plan similar trips (not necessarily in Africa though), who might learn a trick or two from our experiances. And also help them out with their planning via e-mail and sometime the phone if they are from a country nearby. We don't make a dime out of this, even though maintaining such a website is actually kind of expensive. So generally, I can honostly say that unlike yourself, I try to help my fellow man whenever I can.

Yeah "Driver". Real smart to bring up that with me... Have you noticed my "location"? I'll help you out, as it clearly says: "Oslo, in the naive land of socialist nepotism and corruption...". Has it crossed your mind that this is due to me NOT approving of my silly government???

Coming from you, that's kind of funny. Had it not been for that I am stuck in bed due to an injury, I wouldn't have bothered continuously exposing you for the Troll you are. However, a little Troll hunting at least makes the time go by, and shows the uninformed that your "advice" is best taken with a pound or two of salt...

Erik,

The only way to deal with a physco like Mr. Driver/Cats/Wynwood and numerous others is to post true and factual pictures of true and factual events.

Like back when he was Howard Hill.

Here is a picture of my 8 week old puppy after killing a cape buffalo in Zimabawe yesterday. You will also notice that he killed a rare African Chuhacapra after dowing the buffalo bull.

There is no substitute for the truth. Pictures don't lie. Driver was there I SAW HIM!! If you look closely in the background he is hiding in grass having his way with a cat.

Is it school holidays in Pennsylvannia again and little "Charlie McWilliams" or "Terry" aka "Driver" is home again to annoy his parents?

Probably the best time I had was when I got in the wrong line in Ivory Coast (on a lay missionary trip) and got my passport stamp as having imigrated. I spent thirty minutes (in French, no less) before I could get a 19 year-old kid, in fatigues and with an AK-47 and flip flops instead of boots, to believe that I was actually not moving to Africa, just visiting... and I needed to get a visa validated, not a residence permit as issued. Try to explain that with high school French and sign language.

Heck, I thought I was going to have to find a job or something. I guess I could have easily gone to work using my PhotoShop skills... BTW, I didn't use a studio. I just imported a bunch of African flora into my back yard.

That's a funny story Ernest. Smiler

I was in a similar situation back when I was 18 over in the Pacific. I was flying from Cairns, Australia to Fiji in a smallish turbo prop plane, and after a while (and after numerous drinks for me in my youthfull ignorance) the plane landed and I got off. After clearing immigration, and receiving a 6 month visa, I continued on to the outside of the very small building to collect my bag. Which I couldn't seem to find anywhere. Whereupon I noticed that the sign on the small building said Vanuatu. Thankfully, I was sober enough to realize that I had gotten off on the wrong small island nation, about 1000km short of my destination! After explaining my predicament to the immigration officers (who had all had a good laugh, and thought I must have been the dumbest kid to have graced their little airport), they let me back onto the airstrip, where I was allowed to reboard the plane after clearing up with the captain what had happened. And thus was able to continued on to Fiji when the plane took off shortly after.

My leason learned, I have ever since made sure that I double check which stop I'm at when getting off a bus or train! Big Grin
