I am going to hunt Zambia this year and the outfitter is asking for my gun license to get a Zambian gun permit. What do I use as I live in the US and so far don't need no stinkin gun license to own a firearm?

When I hunted there last year, the outfitter sent me a form to list my guns (type and caliber), serial number of the guns and the number of rounds I was bringing for each. I actually received my license at the airport upon arrival. Outfitter (PH) provided the forms. Be prepared to pay anywhere from $1-2 per round in a "tax". Also, you will pay around $100 or so for a visa upon arrival.

I'd suggest you send him a copy of your 4457 which should probably be sufficient and if it's not, I'm sure he'll let you know.

These might help
