Small caliber .223 what Bullet
I am going on a Hunt next year I want to use a .222 or a .223 on small Antelope and the small cats. What bullet is best so as not to Bust them up on the exit wound.

I agree with Blair but make sure the 222 or 223 is legal where you are hunting and you'll have no trouble bring that caliber as you transit other countries.

I've used the Nosler 60 grain Partition in my .223 with great success. My only issue was my Klipspringer. Tiny .22 caliber entry hole with maybe a .25 caliber exit, but it plucked some quills in a 2" long X 1" wide area around the exit hole. No big deal at all as this won't be a problem for my Taxidermist to remedy. I've taken Grysbok, Duiker, Springbok, Oribi, Baboon, Steenbok, Bushbuck, Bontebok and Impala with it as well. Just make sure your rifle likes them. Normally, any grain weight over 60, bolt rifles do not shoot them well, especially the 70+ grain bullets. But try a few and see how your rifle shoots.
Good hunting,
David

I've had good success w/ the 60gr Sierra HP in a 223. Terminal balllistics is good as expansion is complete internally and I usually have a small exit wound.

In South Africa you will most probably be hunting on a farm, in which case you can use any caliber you wish.
