At long last, I leave for Makuti in the morning for a seventeen day hunt. Friday I will be in camp and Saturday Buzz Charlton and I set out in pursuit of a bull and tuskless cow elephant, and possibly another member of the Big Five too boot.  Counting the hours now.  Thanks to all that have posted about their recent hunts in Makuti, Yukon Delta, Charles Helm, Brian Fullam and Dave Kohlhorst and Lee Hook, your insights have assisted my planning and heightened my anticipation. Also, thanks to Kathi Klimes for all of her help in nailing down my travel arrangements and answering all my questions. Mike | ||

Charlton-McCallum Safaris has half or so of the quota and uses several PHs and I think Ian Gibson has the balance, although I know some of it may get sold to others.
