Now that the dust has settled from my recent cow hunt with Buzz at Makuti, I am starting to plan another trip. I'm going to delay retirement a bit so I can take a trophy bull hunt. Buzz had suggested early season (March-April) in the valley. I plan to take his advice, likely 2011. The feeling I got discussing this with him is that earlier (March) is better. I'll get some dates firmed up soon, so I can start working toward the goal.

I was just looking for any thoughts/notions regarding timing or any aspect of this hunt that might not have crossed my mind.

I thought one elephant hunt would be enough. Wrong. At least this gives me something to work toward, a reason to try and stay fit, and motivation when I don't feel like going to work in the morning.
