He looks like a pretty sturdy guy too!!

He might consider wearing something more than a T-Shirt!!

Which little banger is this Saeed?

What does it weigh?

And the load?

Thanks for the entertainment!

For shame, for shame.

He looks like a tough guy, but, damn, once should have been enough.

Looks like the third time was a charm. Smiler

Saeed - Just curious, have you ever taken that rifle to Africa and used it on live game? Maybe you can get Walter to use in on Duiker.

Pity that a big guy like that will never be able to lift his right arm again. He was stubborn but no one is that tough.

Thanks a bunch my friend!

If Walter is the smartest amongst us, what does that say about the rest of us?

I have shot. It does kick quite ard. But, like so many others, I did not drop it.

What you see is the few who really have no business shooting a large caliber rifle like this.

But, they seem to be attracted to it like magnets clap

Guessing at a powder charge of around 180 grains that's recoil of about 164 ft-lbs (ughhh!) and I thought my .450 at 70 ft-lbs was bad.

Cheers,

Saeed I know there is formula for recoil base don bullet weight and MV. I'd be interested to see how this stacks up to known quantities like 30-06 (probably 400% more), 375, 416 etc.
I'd agree as a long time shooter I'd be drawn to pull the trigger just to know but 3 times...holy cow that guy something. Reminds, me of once I had my hunting buddies trying the different levels of my dogs shock collar.

Like moths to a flame...

Perhaps you should consider awarding a T-shirt (or an arm sling)to each survivor. Anyone who dances with the T Rex (hot loads, sans recoil reducers) needs to have some form of "official" recognition.

I imagine some of those shooters sported some pretty nasty bruises, so perhaps induction into the "Order of the Black and Blue" is an option.

And to think my Civil War ancestors fired over 100 .577 rounds a day during heated battle. Fortunately, they only used 60-62 grains of black powder @ 1600 fps. That guy is a glutton for punishment Saeed! Big Grin

Wonder what would happpen if you strapped that sucker in a Lead Sled? Whats that paradox...."What happens when the unstoppable force meets the immovable object?"

Saeed, I think you must make it a house rule that all visotors have to shoot the T-Rex, and be filmed. Especially PH's! Smiler
