I am starting to research for an outfitter for RSA for a hunt in 2007. I have a group of 3 hunters and 2, possibly 3 cameramen. So it must be large enough to accomadate such a group. It must have nice accomodations and based in the Limpopo area. Airport pickup is a must. From everones experiences can you give me the names of a few places so I can start some research. It must be South Africa. Thanks.

I've got just the place and PH you want. Please see Fred Gordon's recent post on this forum and in the African Hunt Reports forum.

We have an excellent concession with excellent quality game.

look at http://www.bushafricasafaris.co

Did 10 days with them last year with 100% satisfaction Steenbok thru Eland and Water Buffalo. They are located near Elisras in the North of the RSA, near the border. People could not have been nicer, their facilities are outstanding, and the food was great.

Sierra are you sure they had water buffalo? I wonder why they would import water buffalo and how they got permits from Nature conservation for them? What a bizzare animal to hunt in RSA! That is the only place I have ever heard of "water buffalo" in RSA. I never even saw them at the auctions or even in the Eastern Cape where it seems anything is possible to hunt!

I have worked with the same PH for three trips to SA and would highly recomend him. He can arrange a hunt for almost any animal and any type of accomodations you would like. His contact info is:

Adventures Africa
dean@adventuresafrica.co.za
tel: +27 (0) 14 772 1773

I have had the opportunity to shoot several different plains game, cape buff, leopard, water buck---all of which have scored very well. So you may want to give him a try. If you would like any photos just email me and I can send you some. Scott
