I came across a Mauser 3000 in .300 Weatherby at one of the local gun shops. Can someone give me some information on these rifles? Nice looking rifle, except for the stock, however I though it weird that Mauser would make a push-feed.

Thanks for the info ALF. This one does have the Oberndorf markings/name on the action.

Alf

Is the Mauser 66 a push feed or a CRF? Thanks.

Alf: I just wonder about the price you mention for the Mauser. I have seen this rifle (used, but in good shape) a couple of times - in 30.06 and 6,5 x 55 it goes for about USD 550,00 here in Denmark. I guess the design did not sell at the period Mauser introduced it.
