During my last trip to Africa I was very lucky to see a cow ele on a clutch of eggs. We all knew they could climb trees but how many of us knew they laid eggs?

Damn, if Photoshop or whatever software can make that look so realistic, I need to go back and "fix" some of my buff photos! Smiler

That is indeed a lovely photo. I hope you will be there when the little ones are "springing " down from the tree to take their first steps on terra firma.

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

Adds a different connotation to the idea of birdsh-- falling from the sky. Didn't a keeper die after giving an elephant an enema and being covered in the excrement? Think of the open land rover parked beneath this tree!
