Just wondering if anyone here has used Arub for a plains game hunt. I have searched the AR archives and Hunting Report but cannot find any reports. Thinking about using them for my first plains game hunt in 2010.

I have always considered the unwillingness to post rates as a negative.

I already have their website (which I find quite sparse compared to most others). I am hoping to get some feedback from anyone who has actually hunted with them.

I am booked with them for September of 2010. I checked references from about a dozen hunters, including USA, Italy, and Russia. All rave reviews. I have found Brista (PH's wife) to be quick to reply to any email question I sent.

Three things attracted me to them in my research.

1) Quick communication and willingness to answer all questions even help beyond just the hunt with them.

2) References were excellent raving about game presence, accommodations, quality of equipment, food, etc.

3) No high fences!! (My personal prejudice) although if you want a "non-naturally" occurring game animal to the area they can arrange the trip to a fenced area.

A couple of the references I checked were posters on here so maybe they would chime in for you as well.
