Going to the DSC convention for the first time this year (Been to SCI for the last decade)

What is the best hotel choice? (quality, proximity) I gather the Omni is sold out.

Best nearby restaurants?

Aloft and Omni were mostly sold out last week. My best choice seemed to be the Lorenzo, still easy walking distance. I can’t recommend it as I haven’t stayed there yet.

Westin Downtown this coming year. They have a shuttle that will get us to the show.

Magnolia in 2013, I liked it.

The Adolphus is within walking distance.

I always stay at the Adolphus. It can be a hike if it's cold, rainy or snowing, but I've done it under all those conditions. Hopefully the construction will be over by January.

Magnolia and Adolphus are both nice and within walking distance as has been stated. There are great restaraunts right at the Omni. The French Room at the Adolphus has long been considered one of the best in Dallas. It’s pricey and jacket required.
