I don't see them in either their master catalog or web site. At least not what I think you are looking for. Try the Boyt folks: http://www.boytharness.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=95 Gary Political correctness entails intolerance for some prejudices but impunity for others. James Taranto

The Boyt gaitors are the best for Africa IMO..I have a pair of them and a pair of Cabelas, and a few others. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

Cabela's do not sell the boyt gaitors anymore. I picked up two pair about a year ago in their bargain basement section. The clerk told me they were discontinuing them. Probably due to low sales most likely.

REI sells some short, lightweight gaiters. They work well for me. (Would hate to wear gaitors.)

I vote for the Boyt. Simple and lightweight which is what you want. My PH could not believe I showed up w gaiters and soft souled shoes. (Got off on the right track right from the start). I used them every day and saved myself alot of work on socks and laces. Andy

GRRRR...no I didn't, and come to think of it, I have the cool Courtney drawstring bag laying down in the smaller one, and i know my shooting gloves are in there. If they are wadded up inside, i think it's time to clean and organize my gear! Seriously Bill, that will be too funny if they are in there. I'll bite the bullet and tell you if so... ...I've used Boyt's/Cabela's, and REI gaitors. Any of these work O.K. But the best by far,in my experience, are from Courteney. They are made from impala skin. Very soft, with a draw string top, which allows easy on-off. I purchased mine in Bulawayo several years ago, and they're top-notch. Not cheap, but good.
