Some of you may have seen on social media that Munyamadzi has teamed up with Kazumba Game Ranch. Munyamadzi Game Reserve and Kazumba Game Reserve to the south have partnered on managing the hunting safaris on the two properties. I will be marketing safaris under Thor Wildlife Safaris and will have the full rights to do so. This will increase the total hunting area to 35,000 hectares or 85,000 acres. Combined we will have over 40 kilometers or 30 miles of Luangwa river front and effectively puts us in the league of the big super prime hunting concessions of Zambia. It will be a huge advantage to our clients to have a bigger area to hunt and give more opportunities to select the correct and sustainable trophies to hunt. In addition we will also be working together on our anti-poaching operations. Both properties have invested heavily in anti-poaching in the past and have created one of Africas most successful wildlife and habitat conservation areas. We are also work together with the other surrounding properties on wildlife monitoring and quota setting to insure sustainability. All the reserves are 100 percent free range.
Above a map of the two areas, note long stretch of river front.
In addition we have also rebuild our camp to ensure the best possible comfort, highest level of service and lifetime hunting and nature experiences. For more details and photos check out my website or send me an email. Links below.

An no, hunting is NOT closed in Zambia.

Hi Thor, congratulations! The camp looks awesome. In the map you posted, where are Luawata and the North/South national parks from those area you’ve marked?

Use enough gun...
Shoot 'till it's dead, especially if it bites.

If you figure the river frontage at 30 miles as stated, that gives a pretty good scale.

I highly endorse Thor and Munyamadzi. The area is extremely scenic and the very conservative quotas are decided between Thor and his Wife the resident Ecologist.

My wife and I were there just last September. We stayed in the tented chalet pictured. We swam in the beautiful pool that is pictured. We sat around the very same campfire. We enjoyed the beautiful riverine canopy forest and saw all the dangerous game nearly everyday of our 10 day stay. We had the pleasure of days afield together in the relaxing pursuit of bushbuck. The entire experience could not be surpassed in my book and I’ve spent a lot of time at Ndutu on Serengeti. It is a 5 star hunting camp with a 5 star professional PH, staff and all involved. It is the Luangwa. It is as close to ‘old Africa’ as you will get. It is worth the money, time and effort. In retrospect…..we made the proper choice. Life is full of choices - hope you make the right one!
