For years I have been trying to find this book and I just saw it in http://www.trophyroomsbooks.com (thanks boom stick !!)

The problem is that it cost $ 1,350 bucks !!! Eeker

It is an interesting book. Full of Cannibals and adventure and pure luck. After reading it you will understand how British cheek ended up ruling half of the world.

By the way I paid $135 for my copy about 4 years ago. Must be inflation.

Check http://www.abebooks.com/ and do a search on title and author. I just did a search and they list several copies for sale but most are VERY expensive. BUT, sort by lowest price, and there are a couple of copies available for fairly reasonable prices. (Though they may not be first editions.) Read the descriptions carefully as some are "an article extracted from the collected volume, not a reprint or an offprint" which is not the complete book.

Just thought you might like to know. Might be worth a look if you want a copy.
