Last year at Reno spent the big $s for a pair of "Sport Ears" ---as in the hearing aid type units --- which were as I recall were quite expensive – plus the customer service was a bit marginal – result was they were defiantly not what I needed and I returned them for a refund.

Also tried a set of “Pro Ear” muffs which – and that was a big waste of my time and money --- the company had more excuses than answers for their lousy product and essentially turned their backside to me when I ask for assistance resolving the situation.

So -- I am one of those individuals that have managed to have incurred nerve damage due to loud noise issues ranging from military to heavy equipment to way to many shots fired w/o hearing protection.

I now find myself in a position of needing hearing enhancement in addition to hearing protection while hunting -- especially in Africa when trying to sneak up on critters that have the potential to rearrange ones personal appearance.

Having endured the ol' stink eye from a ph when I said "huh" one too many times and or could not hear his directives ----I need hearing help!--- thus -- what vendors will be at Dallas that I should look to for help?

I can't speak for Keith's hearing products...yet!!!! but I will speak for him as a stand up guy...and a hell of a big bore shooter. I am confident you will not have any customer service issues with him.

Are you seeking in-ear canal electronic protection or muffs?

No booth this year.(I want to see the show too) I can bring my gear and have it in the room at the Reniaissance, across the parking lot from the DSC.

I purchased a set of analog custom molded hearing protectors from Electronic Shooters Protection (ESP) before I went to Africa in 2006 and have had excellent luck with them since. I have used them extensively for target shooting and hunting. I don't know if they exhibit in Dallas, but they usually are in Reno. They are located in Brighton, just outside of Denver so they may not be too far away from you. Do an internet search of "Electronic Shooters Protection" for more info. Good luck! Brian

Find a local audiologist that works for an ENT and have them fit you.

Key here is L O C A L.

They can work out fitting issues with you.

IMO, it is silly to try to get a custom fit product with a single visit with an out of state vendor.

Keith did my molds for his analog models last year in Dallas and they work great. Wore them all summer shooting clays and won't be without them again. Keith's a good guy and sells a great product.
