Hoo boy!!! Coming home from dinner Friday night. Retreever drivin, Dulcinea co-pilot, Mama Chop Chop and Mrs D in second seat. Jerry Dollar all the way in the back, he has to get out first. We get to an intersection and the cabbie yells "hey Jerry ever see Dealy Plaza". Without waiting for the answer he flicks the wheel to the right and punches it. Right into six lanes coming the other way. I tell him keep going you are only going one way. Off we go at high speed about a half block to a street on the right. Another flick of the wheel to the right and into 4 lanes coming right at us again!! Mama Chop Chop is playing back seat driver " Mike what are you doing". Everybody else laughing like hell. A qiuck 180 to the left and we are finally going the same direction as every one else. At the next light I guess he wanted to show us he knew what he was doing so he squeeled the tires as he took of from the light!!! Off on a wild ride to drop Jerry at the Hyatt. That polelock is no better than the other cabbies we have had in Dallas. Hey Jerry!!!! Maybe next year you will see the Plaza. Keith What counts is what you learn after you know it all!!! | ||
