Ladies and Gentlemen,

I seem to get more than my fair share of unclucky animals - unlike my friend Walter, who seems to get all the lucky ones

We were driving along when we saw two warthogs running in the bush. Pierre said to me to jump out of the truck and shoot this one - the larger of the two.

We ran after them, and I took a sort of "point and shoot" shotgun style shot at this one, and hit him smack in the shoulder, the bullet coming out of his neck, as he was angling away from us.

Those watching the video will see what I mean, and hear Pierre repeating "then why is he did?" to my saying that I could not see him very well in the bush.

With Saeed is Alan Vicent, Roys son and a nicer young man you will seldom meet, and he learned a lot from dad over the years and that was apparant...Lots of hunting savvy and experience behind him for a young man...I was very impressed. I would not hesitate to book a hunt with him...

Nice hog, Saeed! Probably lots of them hit and missed under similar circumstances all over Africa. I have been on both sides of that equation as I got a nice 11" hog in RSA and missed one that was easily 2" longer in Zim.
