When asked for an interview with out notice. You could tell as it appeared that he was still in his sleeping gear, and had just gotten up for the day.

With his profession, he probably worked late into the evening or early morning hours.

It is difficult to put into words the facts that are needed. He probably should have asked for them to return at a time that would have provided him some time to prep air for questions.

The interviewer was basically trying get individuals from using his company with the interview and the reference to his business.

The guy should be able to get damages from the paper. But I don’t know how things work over there.

Trouble with our Tabloid Newspapers is that they really don’t care about good journalism, nor about whether or not something is factually correct. They just write a sensationalist story and publish.

And the don’t really about libel, defamation of character etc etc. It costs £ms to take them to court, takes many years, and they will probably settle out of court with no apology or retraction. And by that time the damage has been done.

I wouldn’t disagree with you. In the past journalists had a professional pride and duty of care to report the news accurately. Nowadays media is all about grabbing as many views to push up advertising revenues.

It all comes down to money. If you are a physical paper then more papers you sell the more ads you can put in and thus more money. Online the more clicks you get the more money you get. It really does not matter what the content is just if someone clicks or reads it. You do you think there are so many stories about little green men from mars who abduct someone and perform experiments on them... It sells papers or clicks. All media reporting does that. The more sensational the more money they make. Stories like this generate clicks and thus money.

The real bad part is when we click on the link to the mirror to read the article, we are actually helping them get more money. So as in so many of these types of articles both sides of this issue are generating money for the vendor.

I prefer the terms "penised-individual" or "non-penised-individual." That way people can call themselves anything they want but I can still understand what's what without resorting to a score cards showing all of the latest trendy terms and innovative new for 2023 genders.

That's what happened with me. I had a lot of people emailing/messaging me with threats for the first two/three weeks after the article was printed. I've had nothing since. I had two AR members send me the link saying that the first pint was on them when they met me
