My wife's auntie posted an anti post about a young lady with her leopard trophy on facebook. I had something to say about it and drew a comment from one of the aunties friends. My first thought was to smash her but instead I told her of the realities of African hunting. We two'd and fro'd a bit and she left by saying- " Tony I appreciate your insight into this & I'll be looking into it more"

There you go. At least someone is going to be more informed.

Actually, that is not strictly true.

I know for a fact that we have changed the minds of so many parents at our kids schools.

All because they get invited to our house, see all the animals we have, and shoot.

They change their minds about hunting, and they change their minds about guns too.

All because of the kids, who love the animals, and love shooting once they have tried it.

Even the mothers now arrange their own shooting competitions here

And I think that's the key to opening the mind of those willing to see for themselves - someone who will take them under their wing and SHOW them.

Unfortunately too many don't want to see or hear anything but what they believe to be the truth.
