Did anyone watch the Dangerous Game episode tonight? What did you guys think? It was more or less a continuation of the Trump episode but without Trump.

It was the 3rd or 4th time they've re-run it.

If that is the one with the race car driver I noticed a couple of things that bothered me a little. 1) One thing I noticed the guy doing when they were stopped on a stock on a herd of buffalo was the guy folding his leaf site on his double rifle up and down. Looked like a nervous thing with him folding it up and down again and again. 2) The second thing I noticed was when the PH chambered his rifle and closed the bolt on a hot round but did nothing about putting the rifle on safe. Then the guy took off running with the rifle in an African carry, the rifle on his shoulder. Just seemed strange to me. Everything looked real and true to the sport.

You realize that the scenes you are referring to are all part of the editing sequence. "Cut Aways" which you are describing are usually taped after the kill so the the folding the leaf site, not putting the rifle on safe, etc. occured after the fact not during the stalk or hunt itself. Those small segments are all shot in order to build the scene. I'm sure the PH was safe but in the reinactment which is phoney, just didn't do the safety thing. It's the magic of television but it is alot of BS as well.

That was a very nice and very big buffalo he wounded. I would have been sick for the rest of my life about that one had it been me...
