Greg R, Bob Faucett,

Check blaauwkrantz.com news board, then Trophy Room, Latest Trophies for trip results. After I figure out how I'm going to do the pix thing will attempt a post in "Hunting Reports" forum.

Until then, Arthur Rudman's operation is flawless, he has prepared sons and son-in-law to carry on the Blaauwkrantz legacy into the future, and I can highly recommend Blaauwkrantz Safaris even though I did have to help carry out my own kudu on Sunday morning sans the "Chu-chalosa" music in Ken Wilson's video at the same place -- Kudus & Caracals [Sportsmen On film]. :-)

September 2005 - Barry and his very good East Cape Kudu bull

From the blaauwkrantz web site:
"Barry Nagel from Clute,Texas had a great and exciting safari. Early Wednesday morning, Barry took a Cape Bushbuck with a very good shot and a little later came across a Duiker and Barry made another very good shot, taking a good trophy and bringing his hunt to an end. Tomorrow Barry will be visiting the taxidermist's studio. He also hunted a very good Blesbuck, good Impala and in the last few minutes of sunlight on Saturday, he made a brilliant shot of over 200 yards and took a very good East Cape Kudu bull, we'll keep you posted, check our trophy room for his kudu photo!"

Thanks for the pix help, Bob. Pop-ups and gremlins are busy eating my trip story efforts tonight -- still on RSA time and have one more graveyard to do tomorrow when not on vacation. I can't say enough about the Rudmans!

Glad to hear you had a good time. I have been booking with the Rudman's since 2000, so I was not surprised when Arthur e-mailed to let me know you had a great hunt. I book a ton of hunters with them every year and have still never had a complaint.

Please e-mail me a few pics for the next newsletter when you get a chance. Thanks, and congratulations on some good shooting!

Greg

I still can't sleep! Trying to get the hunting part of my trip written up. May need to email you pix in case I take too long. Trip best summarized by this response -- a guy just checking references asked; "Is June-July a good time to hunt with Blaauwkrantz Safaris?" "Any time is good to hunt with the Rudmans and Dixies (Philip married to Zani) -- June-July may be wetter than when I went."

Oh. Pamela's response to my trip and write-up efforts is "Well, I want a waterbuck, a gemsbok, and we don't owe the kids Disney World. Let them go with us on safari!" I kid you not. Look out!

Start saving those pennies!!!! You know you've got to go back!!! I've only been back a couple of weeks and I'm already starting to think about Nyala.
