I have been assigned Richard Taylor as a PH for a September, 2007 tuskless elephant hunt. I can find no information on this lad. If any of the members have an insight on Taylor, I would welcome any remarks.

Are you sure that's Richard Taylor and not Richard Tabor? I work here at Roger Whittall Safaris with a Richard Tabor. Although Richard works mostly with RWS, he is a good friend of Buzz Charlton's and may be doing some freelance work for him. If it is indeed Richard Taylor, I cannot help as I don't know anyone by that name. If you are hunting with Richard Tabor, you will be in good hands.

Yes, it is a hassle to get onto the website - many people have struggled to find it. Type in rwsafaris.net and when it says this site does not exist, click the address once more. The second time it should come up. You may also click on my name on this site and look up posts I've submitted about RWS. Let me know how you get on.

I just got back from hunting buff and PG with Richard Taylor via Buzz's outfit. Quite disappointing. I'd ask Buzz for Richard's full background and credentials, especially his experience over the last few years. I found out during the hunt that he was working in IT support in London the last 2 to 3 years and from my perspective was a bit "rusty" to say the least. I'll be typing up a full hunting report but email me with any questions in the meantime.

I've hunted with Richard Tabor several times for elephant and lots of other game and I second 500 Grains' assessment and I would highly recomend Richard Tabor as a PH

To clarify, my hunt that wrapped up last week was with Richard TAYLOR, who is an acquaintance/friendor and/or contractor for Buzz. We hunted Dande North, right next to Chewore. I booked through Buzz and Charlton McCallum Safaris and got stuck with this guy. If you like hunting water holes and almost getting arrested at the Harare airport for incorrect paperwork, this is your man.
