Does anyone have any idea what mammoth tusks weighed? Shades of Jurassic Park lol. Since they are going to be "implanted" in the wombs of African elephants......

I saw and photoed plenty at the natural history museum in St. Petersburg last X'mas.
One sign detailed them bein 310cm and 110kg = 122" and 242 lbs.

I have never seen a live elephant, nor a full mount but when standing next to the mammoth's skeleton I felt that whatever, whatever a gun I would have had in my hands I would have been seriously undergunned.
