I am looking at booking a hunt in March 2016 with Burkina Safari Club,

Area to be hunted is Konkombouri and Singou hunting camp,

Company is owned by Mr Moumouni Derme,

I will be looking to hunt Lion, Roan, Buffalo and whatever else pops up,

Does anyone have any experience with this company?

Any info is welcome before I make up my mind and pay a deposit,

Regards

JK

JK that is a long way out. Thinks can drastically change in that amount of time.
There have been a few who hunted that country from AR. They should pipe in.

Had Toufic, owner of Namungu Safaris in Burkina, at phone yesterday. An american hunter had just ended his big game safari and was very pleased. This season looks excellent.
Burkina is a very stable country, nothing puzzling in the years to come.
Elephant poaching is beginning to be a reality and has to be linked to the Chineses in the adjacent countries.
Protected crocodiles are also a scourge in waterholes.
Leopard is stupidly protected too.

Kukumburi and Singou ranch are also reputed companies. You can be confident.
Lion is cheap, and almost certain to be got (at least for Namungu).
Roan is a wonderful game.
You have every reasons to be optimistic.
Good luck

Hi jkhunter

I just talked with Vaillier, the most known taxidermist in France, and a close friend of Touffic.

He made it perfectly clear that Moumouni is a guy that you can fully trust, and his areas are top.
You can look forward with peace of mind
good luck

I have just booked two 1x1 Grand Chasse hunts with BSC in Konkombouri, early January 2015 for my husband and I. dancing

I will let you know how it goes. I was referred to Moumouni Dermés outfit by a PH with whom I will be hunting with there also. He was my PH in CAR for 28 days in 2012. I took him at his word after guiding me to 16 animals I put in the salt.

Thanks,
You won't be disppointed at all with hunting in Burkina. Be aware that You'll hunt with French speaking people and that communication could be sometimes tricky. But it's the real African with genuine hunting and strict rules, that would fully meet with your expectations. Sure You'll get your bag with serious tracking down, with plenty of game. No shortcuts possible and the certainty of achieving a real and genuine African experience. Icing the cake, splendid food. I take any bet that You'll be ...........................................................owned

jk Hunter, Why yes, one and the same Froggy. He was exceptional in CAR. He and Christophe M. make quite the pair. My husband hunted with Christophe.

I am looking forward to his new hunting area. I hope to hear good things when he gets back to civilization.
