Hi Husky

The vilamoura restaurant you are reffering to has actually not reopend and doubt if it will. The group of restaurants which consisted of three, were bought out by another group they decided not to continue with the Pretoria restaurant. Although the other two, one in Sandton and the other in A area called Hurlingham are still going strong. If you want I can give you there details ?

But yes they are great restaurant's , a bit expensive for us locals but I suppose you pay for quality.

Cheers

I think the restaurant building where it was is now a Franchise restaurant called the Meat Co.

Apparently not to bad as well.

Thanks PeterV and Schmidie!

I have had some fantastic dinners at Villa Moura with friends and yes it is expensive but their meals are 100%.

I thnik I will try one of the other two, or "The Langustine" in Centurion Lake, which is also a decent restaurant.

Cheers

Husky,

Here's the real story:

[Q]Vilamoura offers 2c in the rand -
The former owners of upmarket restaurant chain Vilamoura are in a scheme of arrangement with their creditors that will see the creditors offered about 2c in the rand, according to notices published in the press at the weekend.

Vilamoura is part of listed group Terexko, whose shares have been suspended on the JSE Securities Exchange SA at 1c for more than a year.[/Q]

Like all businesses, bad management can't keep good food on the table!
