Does anyone else find problems with this new AR site? I find that it flashes, freezes and is extremely slow to respond. I have a MacIntosh/Apple computer and am wondering if it is "just me"
Thanks for your input.

How often does this happen? I'm no website guru, I'm sure many more savvy than me can diagnose this for you, but generally I've had very few problems here. Those I do have I attribute to my satellite link-up being on the fritz.

While on the subject I'd like give two thumbs up to our website masters here and want to say thanks for their product, it's the best on the web without question.

This past weekend, at home, I got on the AR website using a Mac. I too had flashing. I do not get this problem at work where I am using a Dell PC.

Don (DRG) can provide better information but here's a reply from him that I found (through a search) on another thread. Hopefully Don will see this topic and chime in later.

Does chat work with Safari and not Explorer? From the infopop support forum, Mac users with Explorer (18 mos. old for the mac) have all sorts of issues with the java scripts while Safari is better.

I think the problem is with the browser software for the Mac not properly supporting some of the newer Java scripts that this new Eve software uses.

jhaney,

A better place to post your question might be in the "Suggestions and help requests from members" forum. Don will probably see your question sooner there than here. Just a suggestion.

Most of the time I have no problems with the new site. I am using a PC, Win98, and dial up. How ever I have had freezeing and or slow reponse. I just quit the AR site for a while going somewhere else (maybe 20 min.) or just go off line.

If you are using Safari, install Firefox for the Mac.

It is slighgly faster, very reliable and most Macfolks I know who have tried it don't go back to the native Mac browser.
