OUCH, would a dog survive that?

It is amazing what a Bull Terrier can survive. My friend had a Bull Terrier that took on a pack of Coyotes. Nobody witnessed the fight but the dog came home with its entire body covered on bites wounds (I'm talking everywhere) and his entire head and shoulders covered in yote blood. The Vet said he thought from the bite patterns that there were at least 5 yotes and that the dog probably killed 2 or 3 of them. And he lived. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that dog survived his Porcupine encounter.

Your lion-hyena photos are chilling in their savagery. "Nature red, in tooth and claw" Thanks for sharing!

Great photos. I look forward to taking a hyena this fall in Zambia. I believe their full body mount makes an impressive show of raw strength. "How do we inspire ourselves to greatness when nothing less will do" -- Invictus

The spirit and tenacity of those dogs is amazing, cant help but love em'. When my girl used to get spooled up,she took off like a cannon ball, nothing she feared. will see what else I can find on lions or Africa.
