This is a 48" buffalo and I don't know how much more pefect he could be. He is one of 4 buffalo killed in our Masailand concessions so far this season. They have measured 40",42",45" and 48"

The 2 safaris that produced these buffalo also tunrned in some amazing total bags of 24 and 28 aniamls including lion, leopard, all the East African specialties and odd balls like African wild cat and caracal.

Heck of a way to start off the season!

There a few '08 openings for buffalo still available.

You said "he"and I take that to mean it is a bull, But in the first photo ,from the back,it looks as if it could be a cow.

It is one fine looking buff no doubt about it.That is what mine might have looked like if it had had more time to grow up.LOL

Nice buffalo! And great to hear that the area is full of other game too. The anti-poaching efforts of Chaca-1 and Chaca-2 are obviously working!

I hope he is going with a full head and shoulder mount. Nothing less would do justice to that big boy.

That buffalo is so close to perfect that I would gladly waive any defects! Big Grin

Bulldog

That one came from Lobo. Adam said in Lokisale they were turning down multiple 42" buffalo daily looking for a real brute. They did find a 45".

Wow, what a magnificent lifetime trophy!
