Getting my ducks in a row for my up comming trip to Tanzania.
I am traveling on KLM thru Amsterdam from EWR and know I need transit permit(s). Do I need a seperate copy going and another comming home? With the only changes being flight #s, origins of trip, destinations.
Leaving for airport in 75 days...not that I'm counting Cool

Last year they indicated that you only need one for a round trip transit. Indicate flight numbers going and coming ... and DO NOT forget to declare the ammunition you will take with you!

Take extra photocopies of the permit and the 4457s. If your rifles get delayed for any reason, you can enclose the documents in a plastic envelope with the gun case. (I know this sounds paranoid, but mine were delayed coming out of Tanzania and having the spares meant they could come back into the country without me! They made it three days after I did.)
