Sincere condolences to the McMurchy family. It's always hard to lose a loved one. And tougher around the holidays.
Just remember all the good things he brought into your life and time will help ease the pain.

My condolences to the family and friends.

I had spoken with Ian on several occasions via telephone. He was an open and honest man - very keen on matters related to hunting and the outdoors and polite to a fault - a Gentleman's gentleman!

No doubt he'll be missed by family and friends.

He will also be missed by those of us that are dedicated to our sport - we have lost a brother!

God beless you Ian and thanks for your positive efforts here on earth!

My heartfelt condolences to the family... may the fields he hunts in heaven be full of game, the wind always in his face and the sun at his back.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
