TXRandyNamibia Leopard
I'm turning to the best source I know for information, you guys! I'm looking for an outfit in Nambibia to hunt Leopard with in 2009. Secondary targets are Eland and Waterbuck, maybe Kudu and some other animals. I hunted South Africa in 2004 so this wouldn't be my first trip, only my second! Any recommendations and contacts would be greatly appreciated.

army aviatorYou may want to check Neuhof Safaris. You can read about them in my report under this section. The title was Neuhof's First American Hunter. It is a beautiful place. This was my fourth safari and the best. You can see from my posting or their web site that they have a first class place. They have lots of quality animals and they will take you to other areas if needed to get any animals that they do not have. They are really nice people and they have a great crew.

Josh A.Karl Stumpfe-Ndumo Safaris, I think the website is:
www.huntingsafaris.netvery good PH for plains game and I saw a bunch of pictures of clients with leopards that he guided and he seems to love to hunt them. I will probably go for leopard with him in the next few years.

LeopardtrackRandy,
Don't go to Namibia if you have to go home with a Leopard!!! I hunted there 18 days and never had a reliable hit on a bait. I scored in Zim last year, and the difference was like night and day between the two countries as far as sign go.
I think that alot of the PH's there have Leopard on their game list, knowing that yes, you might get one....but while you are trying, you will spend your money anyway on their abundant plains game.
If you are serious, PM me and I will give you a call and connect you with someone who will get you your cat.

TXRandyI know Zim is a much "hotter" place for Leopard but I'm not sure if I want to risk my deposit money and almost 2 years of time on a Zim hunt. ZIm seems to be going downhill by the day and who knows what it will be like in 18 months. I would hunt there tomorrow if I could but I wouldn't bet on it in 18 months.
