We have two Eids we celebrate.

Eid by the way, is the Arabic for celebration.

This is Eid Alfitr - which is to celebrate the end of our fasting month Ramadhan.

During the month of Ramadhan, we are supposed to stop eating, drinking and enjoying other pleasures from just before the break of dawn to sunset.

Eid Al Adha - which is to celebrate the occassion of saving Ismail from being sacrificed by Ibraham.
