Our dear friend, PH Gert van der Walt, tragically passed away following a fatal encounter with a problem elephant. Gert leaves behind a loving wife and two children who now face the difficult task of bringing his body back to Windhoek to his final resting place and additional expenses associated with the loss of this exceptional man. To support his family during this challenging time, Omujeve Hunting Safaris has generously offered a 5-day trophy buffalo hunt in Bwabwata East for auction. Venture South. This is a very confusing communication to raise money for this tragic loss. A person almost has to create a spreadsheet to each donation to show outfitter, details included in the hunt, current bid and it would be better in USD but that is not a difficult one to do. This way it will get more immediate attention. Maybe this is all done in the WhatsApp link. Also, to begin an auction Thursday and only run it through Sunday is not the best way to maximize value. It then over the next few days gained a lot of support and 13 more donations were added.
