JBrownRaising a 4 year-old daughter I really cringe at all the "Nature in harmony" BS kids are being force fed. I try to keep my daughter away from that stuff, but it is not easy.
I must be doing something right though: when I asked her what she wanted for dinner last night she exclaimed "elk with gravy and black(wild) rice." Then today she saw me with a rifle and asked, "when we get to Wyoming can we shoot something?"
Gotta love that little gal!

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

FrostbitEmailed this to a friend of Joyce's and her daughter saw it. She told her daughter, "No honey, Simba isn't hurting Pomba, he's carrying him like a kitten".

Matt GrahamMy youngest son (9) just looked at this critically and said that the warthog probably ate the meerkat, right before the lion grabbed him!
