Does anyone here know this gentleman personally or hunted with him? I understand he was in some trouble a while back, just wondered what the outcome was. I get e-mail adds from his company on a regular basis, and am curious, thanks

I did a search on here, and apparently he was ousted from PHASA in 2006

Do not know how true it is, but I hear rumours that if you are not registered to PHASA from 2010, you will not be able to register as a PH...

Any case. Krys is well known and there was some big things going wrong in 2006. I'm not gonna black paint his name on a public forum, BUT beware of that deal.....If it is too good to be true, it ussualy is.......

There is a reason why the trophy fees are not listed on that web-site.....

Any case, good luck!

So I changed my whole posting.....why? I am fed up to fight a battles no one will win. I will however start a thread on its own addressing some of the issues rising out of the stinking thing.

The initial reply from me above opened up a big can of worms and I'm being threatend with lawyers Big Grin As if I'm not surrounded with enough of them, our offices being adjecent to our family law firm....(which I left years ago)

The bottom line, and I'm refering to the PM's, is this:

Krys Wessels was removed from the PHASA membership list in 2006. I do not know the story, and when I phoned PHASA this morning they were reluctant to say anything. It was stated in the hearing that Mr. Wessels was not to be allowed membership for 4 years, and could then re-apply. He has since been re-instated as a full member after 2 and a half years. I'm waiting for an official response from PHASA as to why.

This was the only reason I mentioned it. And the deal is to good to be true, any full time outfitter will put a question mark on top of it.

I can also state that I'm not in competition with mr Wessels, and never met the man. He is very well known, and he made himself well knwon in our circles with the above mentioned disiciplinary action and the resulted outcome.

I have never done any business with the man either. We hunt in different parts of South Africa and target different markets.

My sole interest in this instance was to tell the hunter to be careful....where there is a little smoke, a fire is ussualy close by.

It was not to discredit Krys, althought this is what happened.

My response to the e-mail from Krys this morning is much more heated than my reply here, and I will not go into that now. If this continues, I will be more than happy to give the content of that correspondence to the forum.

Good luck with booking your hunt. Maybe you should look at the offers from AR members on this forum. There are very good deals, not only from us, but other guys as well.

And any guy that is trying to post a hunt on this forum that is not what he say it is....either has got balls or are seriously stupid!

When I get ready to book a hunt, I will absolutely look here first. I always do my research before spending hard earned money, thus my inquiry. I get e-mail adds from this place a couple times a year. and was just curious what sort of trouble this gentleman was in. Thanks for the response.
