ELE IMPORT PERMITS

From John Jackson/Conversation Force today:

"As of this writing 9 permits have been processed. All have been for Zimbabwe. These March permits are the first elephant import permits processed or granted for any country since the November 17, 2017 "hold"(Trump) that no longer exists. Zimbabwe elephant taken between 2016 and today are importable. Hurrah!"

Hurrah! Indeed.

Congrats for those who hunted 2016 on. This is great news for Zimbabwe outfitters and hunters alike.

Can't help wondering how the Elephants in 2015 were in more danger of excessive off take than those in 2016.
