OK lets put the .45/70 to bed. There's been lots of debate on its merits and suitability, but lets forget all that. ACTUAL PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WANTED ON CAPE BUFFALO. Please post your story, the ammo, the results of YOUR ACTUAL PERSONAL CAPE BUFFALO HUNT here. Please NO stories from magazines, videos, TV or midnight dreams. There's been two or three guys here that have actually used it for cape buffalo. So we should get a story or two. It would be interesting to see how it compares to the other Cape Buff thread on result when hunting them. Actually I was surprised not to see a post or two there, but didn't want to contaminate that thread with the word and the resultant quotations from magazines. | |||
