Saeed:

With all the shooting you do and
hunting for so long shooting a bunch then
unprotected.

You are only fooling yourself about not needing
hearing aids.

Buzz: get checked at an audiologist and get a
copy of the test results. With that, then after
learning the costs there. Go to Costco and see
what they charge for "EQUAL" H/A's.

I'd bet your ears ring full time too. Mine have
since an a/h set his '06 off inside the cab of
a p/up when I was 15 (60 years ago). Mighty
long time to suffer from some jerks stupidity.
Rifle fired between our heads, both got smoke
burns to our faces and nearest ear. Damned
lucky at that. Windows were up, blew the back
glass out. Sure could have hit one of us in the
head real easy.

Best wishes getting the right pair.
Don't go too cheap though.

George

I had my ears blown out many years ago, the result of gunfire and failure on my part to address the problem...The main thing I can tell you is do not buy one hearing aid, it will never work, buy one for each ear, so it will maintain your balance and perspective..I hate them but the do work, takes time to adjust like your first pair of glasses..

I suspect about any of the hearing aid places is as good as the next, they all seem to tell you the same thing..Costco is as good as any and much cheaper, and they have a good guarantee..My doctor advised me to use them and Im satisfied..For a hunter, shooter I prefer the deep inside the ear as recoil and hard use tend to move most of them around and lost if fact..but you may or may not qualify for them..
Good luck
Ray

I might be mistaken, but I believe that in Texas you do to need a membership to purchase hearing aids from Costco. I know you don't for the pharmacy.
