Conpemplating a hunt with Robin Hurt Safaris in the Rungwa district of Tanzania.

Anyone been there, done that? Would like your comments and experiences. Thanks.

Robin Hurt has a wonderful company, with fine PH'S. Ive hunted in Maswa only.

I've hunted Rungwa a couple times with RHS (Alick Roberts). This was nearly 20 years ago. Dry area, probably best hunted late when game concentrated near available water. Average buffalo. Lions I saw were big but had less hair than I do (and that ain't much!). Nothing stood out to me as special about the concession. If you haven't hunted with RHS you'll find camps to be excellent, as are the PH's.

He had a fantastic season in Maswa North GR.

I want to hunt with Mike, met with him last year at DSC and he seems like a great guy and great PH.

Where is at least as important as whom.
