Well done except for the soundtrack which could have come from a porn video.

I enjoyed the video. After the initial leopard shot, the guy looked like he was wearing toilet paper camo. I must have missed something.

The 2nd shot fired by the client was to alert the camp that the hunting party was successful and coming in with a Big-Five animal, so the camp can prepare to do the traditional 'Kabubi' dance. The toilet paper...well we decorate the client with it, and the car with green branches. its all part of the tradition.

Was I the only one who kept thinking during the hippo sequence...."Shoot the damn thing in the head!"? Like most things I'm sure it's easier said than done. Good video and yes a tremendous eland!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Interesting indeed, just a couple of things noted...none of my busines I know...just sayin'...

Hypo shootout...I know things happen, but to put it on display...?

Same wonder about the shot on that lioness as Oz.

Sable...ejected round at 7:00 makes a funny sound when hiting the "ground"...

Over-excited PH on the hippo hunt wouldn't you say?

When they are filming the lioness before the charge, the ph says in KiSwahili "bring me the 22" - I wonder what for?

Did they ever recover the buff that was shown?

Federico using a hammer gun. Interesting to know the details of it tu2

Mich, I picked up the hammer gun also. The hippo cool heads could have finished it earlier.

+1 on the hammer gun.

I personally thought the gentleman shot in front of the lioness.

The guys got a little excited on the hippo. I think anything living in that pool will die of lead poisoning after all of those shots. Smiler

Nice eland and sable.

*The Hammer double is an old Joseph Manton.470

*True, the shot was fired to turn the lioness. there apparently was no intent to kill it.

*no comment. Wink

*the area has fantastic E.A. Eland & Roosevelt Sable, quality & quantity.

I was also interested in the exposed hammer type rife, such as what Verney-Carron produce. That was until I found out that they must be re cocked after re loading and that they have an opening that can be a problem with grit entering.
+1 on the bullet impacting in front of the Lioness but heavy bullets do interesting things after point of impact. would have been a bugger to explain a wounded Lioness in such a situation Roll Eyes
