Just got back from hunting in the Nyae Nyae, will post a report when things settle down but thought I would post a teaser.

A non trophy hunt for elephant bull and buffalo. One of the best over all safaris I have had.

Fantastic!

Didn't know there were buffalo there.

Can you give a quick comment on elephant numbers and trophy bulls taken this year so far?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, this year is the last year on Stephan's contract, so next year is a little uncertain. Saw 25 bulls in 3 days of hunting elephant. After we started hunting PG saw several more but didn't follow tracks. Hunter before us shot a 78# but most of the trophy hunts are conducted later in the season when things dry up. There was a lot of water when I was there. Buffalo are in a high fence because of Hoof And Mouth but it was a REAL hunt. Tracked 3 Dugga boys for 3 hours in knee high grass before got up to them. I will PM you with more info.

Looks like you had an epic safari. Look forward to the hunt report. Love that buff...

These bulls are huge, and when you get within 15 to 20 yards, they look even bigger.
