From The USA Today-

Joyce Carol Oates may have several Pulitzer Prize nominations to her name, but the author was seemingly fooled by a photo from “Jurassic Park” on Twitter.

IGN Movie Editor Chris Tilly posted a photo of Steven Spielberg with one of the dinosaurs from the iconic flicks.

It seems Oates took the tweet very seriously, and she slammed it as barbaric. "So barbaric that this should still be allowed... No conservation laws in effect wherever this is?"

I agree. If hunters keep shooting the young ones, as this clearly is, soon the whole species will become extinct.

Dutch, Dave used his Searcy .470. Given the nature of the beast, a heart/lung shot was taken.

This was from a while ago,...very funny the reactions it got from all the Anti Hunting Whacko's if you ever saw the original post..they also did it with a fake shark from Jaws separately...
Many idiots fell for it Hook, line, and sinker...
Proves these poor mindless fools are all emotion and no brains...much like the Triceratops pictured.
Oddly...far fewer morons fell for the fake Shark posting??!! What does that tell you??
Fake 50 ft Megalodon/Great White?? Triceratops which died out 65M years ago ( religious freaks not withstanding)????

And if anyone had any doubts, she made sure those doubts were removed rotflmo

And the only way she got all those silly prizes is because of the liberal media

My great uncle killed a Triceratops with a .22 RF back in 1920, so I feel my .22-250 is perfectly adequate for my upcoming hunt.

Hunting conditions have changed in the last 95 years. Triceratops used to be relatively naive, and were found in open areas. Going into the thick stuff with a 22/250 today would be suicide. At least a 6mm is required.

Bah, you guys have no sense of adventure. 22 short at 5' in the eyeball. Done like dinner. What I want to know is what would it cost to have a full mount done?

Ms. Oates has won a number of Pulitzer Prizes for her drivel? Must have been awarded by the same crowd that gave Oblama his Nobel...

Man, where would you shoot it, and with what, in a head-on charge? Can't imagine even a .700 Nitro solid penetrating that armor plate to reach the walnut-sized brain! Maybe a 20 mm depleted uranium round?

Well I'd certainly shoot one but I have two or three problems

One I think using anything smaller than a 40mm is unsportsmanlike, as it is too likely to wound...

Second field dressing will be difficult because my chainsaw is not running.

and third, my TIME MACHINE won't go back 65million .

A canned hunt for sure. If you look closely you can actually see the high fence. Shame on you Spielberg, its people like you who will kill Dino hunting forever.

You might be okay with premium bullets like Sierra, cheap bullets will get you killed!
