The top 5 Limpopo Bushbuck with bow on SCI are 46 3/8, 46, 45 5/8, 45 2/8 and 45 1/8. You measure the length of both horns by following the spiral and the circumference at the base of each horn.

The top 2 on RW is 21 and 19 7/8 for South African Bushbuck, my book is dated 2003 so they might have changed and it does not say method of taking them.

Good Hunting,

Now there's an achievement! Any bushbuck with a bow would be an achievement, but a 17 incher is absolutely fantastic. Congratulations donner - now you just have to better it!

Congratulations!

46.4 is a bigger number than 46 3/8! The latter is 46.375. So you should be No. 1, unless somone somewhere rounded off the figures.

But that must be a fantastic bushbuck! Where was the hunt?

In good hunting.

Pretty much covers my thoughts on it exactly. Bushbucks are reputed to get quite dangerous at times. That was a pretty exciting hunt I'm sure.
